March 13th is the day. Mark your calendars for the world’s number one pound-for-pound fighter, Manny Pacquiao takes on the Ghanaian warrior, Joshua Clottey for the WBO Welterweight Championship. Pacman currently holds seven world titles in seven different divisions and on March 13th, at the Cowboys Statium in Arlington, Texas, he will defend one of the titles.

If we take a look at the statistics, Pacquiao has the upper hand with 50 wins, three losses and two draws. 38 out of his 50 wins ended via knockout. Clottey has a very good record as well with 35 wins and three defeats. 20 out of his 35 wins ended via knockout. Clottey is coming into the fight as an underdog but he definitely has the size advantage. Will Manny Pacquiao be able to defend his welterweight title against the Ghanaian Joshua Clottey? If he does, he keeps his record as the only boxer who is currently a septuple world title champion for he has seven world championship belts in seven different weight divisions under his name.
